Description

Own the organization’s internal IT operations (servers, clients, network/WLAN, printers, telephony) and administer the Microsoft 365 environment. Lead a security-centered setup (firewall and endpoint management, backup & recovery, MFA, patch management) while supporting the migration of branch software. Introduce AI tools and automations and develop small internal applications and scripts.

Responsibilities

• Independent management, administration, and organization of internal IT: servers, clients, network/WLAN, printers, and telephony
• Administration of Microsoft 365: Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune
• IT security as a primary focus: firewall and endpoint management (Sophos), backup & recovery (Veeam), MFA, patch management
• Further development of IT security and digitalization strategy together with management, quality management, and data protection (DSGVO, compliance; NIS2 in the future)
• Manage and support branch software, including participation in the ongoing system migration
• Introduce and support AI tools and automations within the company
• Develop small internal applications, tools, and scripts for internal needs (e.g., Python/PowerShell)
• 1st- and 2nd-level support for employees
• Contribute to IT projects and maintain IT documentation
• Involve external service providers only when it makes sense

Requirements

• Completed degree (Bachelor/Master) in Computer Science, IT Security, Business Informatics, or comparable IT field; or IT specialist for system integration / technician
• Practical experience in system administration
• Safe, hands-on knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, WLAN, firewalls)
• Programming skills for small applications/tools/scripts (e.g., Python, PowerShell, web technologies)
• Good understanding of IT security and data protection (DSGVO)
• Independent, structured, hands-on working style and service mindset
• Very good German language skills
• Preferred: experience with Sophos and/or virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware)
• Preferred: experience in healthcare or with practice/branch software
• Preferred: solid knowledge of AI tools and interest in automating processes
