Description

As a District Manager, you will mentor and empower sales teams, advance market presence by aligning branches, optimizing resources, and enabling a seamless experience for associates and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Empower, mentor, and support the sales team to advance toward excellent safety standards and performance milestones
  • Cultivate exceptional customer service and product knowledge; collaborate on problem resolution
  • Advocate for safety measures through interactive meetings and alignment with safety protocols
  • Enhance and sustain selling skills and product expertise through continuous learning
  • Foster professional growth and provide proactive guidance on company policies and customer service excellence
  • Partner with the Branch Manager in hiring, training, and holistic management of employees
  • Support outside sales representatives by preparing sales data and forecasts for leadership
  • Optimize the budget, monitor fiscal health, and manage expenditures for long-term sustainability
  • Coordinate paperwork, inventory, pricing, and profitability to ensure operational health
  • Facilitate personnel matters and ensure facility upkeep for a welcoming and safe environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience (ideally 7+ years in a relevant field)
  • Demonstrated experience in medical sales
  • Proactive leadership experience supporting and mentoring teams for at least 3 years
  • Strong verbal and written communication; ability to build alignment and stay organized
  • Comfort with Microsoft solutions, particularly Excel and Word; experience with data entry and order extraction
  • Numerical proficiency for business applications and analytical reporting
  • Resilience and adaptability to work independently in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to foster understanding with diverse teams and personalities
  • Physical capability to lift 25–75 lbs. as needed
  • Valid driver’s license and insured personal vehicle
  • Comfortable working in a drug-free environment
  • Flexibility to adjust schedule to meet customer and management needs
