Description

Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to bring user insights into the product design process. Demonstrate advanced understanding of users, relevant product journeys, user needs and challenges, and the broader business context. Own planning, facilitation, analysis, and integration of complex user research into strategic conversations.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate advanced understanding of users and how they engage with products
  • Understand the product under study, including journeys and user needs/challenges, and the business as a whole
  • Organize, facilitate, and analyze unmoderated and moderated user research
  • Conduct more complex user research (e.g., diary studies)
  • Integrate analytics and experimentation data into research planning and reporting
  • Connect research to the product; proactively suggest and conduct research targeting product priorities and knowledge gaps
  • Identify areas for improvement across the product and recommend potential solutions based on research
  • Ensure research is integrated into strategic conversations; align insights with business and user needs across teams
  • Coach junior researchers on stakeholder collaboration and research craft

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of previous User Experience Research experience
  • Strong knowledge of User Experience Research methodologies and best practices
  • Demonstrated success working as part of a cross-functional team including UX Design, Product, and Engineering
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of sports and/or experience in a heavily regulated industry is a plus
  • Working knowledge of AI capabilities and limitations for user research, including leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and augment qualitative and quantitative analysis
