Description

Engineering leadership is needed for a manufacturing engineering role in heavy industrial production environments involving steel, aluminum, automotive and related manufacturing. The position focuses on manufacturing engineering leadership, industrial equipment knowledge, process improvement, and automation/digital manufacturing aligned with corporate strategy.

Responsibilities

• Recommend and justify the most efficient use of existing production equipment
• Provide new equipment justification based on labor and material savings
• Ensure plant-level maintenance and reliability performance, with TPM systems deployed effectively
• Own manufacturing process responsibility for new and existing products, including ergonomic assessment, productivity improvements, and cost improvements
• Implement automation and digital manufacturing solutions to improve consistency
• Lead capital projects; manage multiple projects; understand Bill of Materials (BOM)
