Description

You will support the SDLC lifecycle by gathering user needs, contributing to design and process documentation, developing and refining code, executing and reporting on test plans, integrating new software features, and maintaining live applications through monitoring and troubleshooting. You will also document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions to strengthen the team’s knowledge repository.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs and ensure accurate documentation of stakeholder requirements.
  • Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications and aid in creation of process documentation.
  • Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications, following detailed design specifications to meet user requirements.
  • Execute test plans, analyze outcomes, and report defects to the development team to facilitate enhancement of software performance.
  • Support the integration of new software features to enable smooth transitions within existing system infrastructure.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and creation of comprehensive documentation for ongoing system maintenance.
  • Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions to enrich the team’s knowledge repository.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
  • Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • Strong IT infrastructure experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Dynatrace administration and observability platforms.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise monitoring, alerting, and performance management concepts.
  • Experience supporting large enterprise infrastructure environments.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture, systems management, networking, platform engineering, security best practices, and site reliability/operational monitoring.
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship; no immigration sponsorship for this role now or in the future.
  • May require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience collaborating across technical and business teams.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience with SolarWinds, CheckMK, Microsoft Intune/endpoint management, and PC-focused infrastructure and endpoint technologies.
