Description

The Inside Sales Representative drives growth by gathering requirements, designing solutions, and demonstrating how laboratory analysis will meet customers’ air quality testing needs. The role supports the full sales cycle from initial inquiry through order fulfillment, using market and product knowledge to develop targeted opportunities and strengthen distributor relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Execute short- and long-term sales strategies for compressed air quality testing to drive distributor engagement and revenue growth.

  • Align daily sales activities with corporate objectives while adapting to changing distributor requirements, application conditions, and market dynamics.

  • Coordinate with engineering, product, and operations teams to translate market and application insights into targeted action plans.

  • Provide subject matter expertise to train customers on equipment, techniques, troubleshooting, and challenges.

  • Strengthen distributor relationships through responsive technical support, solution guidance, and proactive opportunity development.

  • Enhance channel capability by identifying high-potential partners and equipping them with technical training, tools, and resources.

  • Track sales activity, update distributor opportunity pipelines, and maintain accurate performance data within CRM systems to support forecasting and data-driven decisions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing distributor or channel partner relationships in an industrial or technical product environment.

  • High school diploma required.

  • Willingness to learn and function within a solutions-oriented sales process and follow up on precedented timelines.

  • Proficient in MS Office and experienced with complex CRMs; strong attention to detail.

  • Strong listening, time management, and organizational skills; ability to prioritize in a fast-paced sales environment.

  • Strong communication skills (clear verbal and written) and effective interpersonal collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

  • Bachelor’s Degree
