Drive platform modernization to improve quote-to-bind conversion, accelerate distribution channel growth, and embed AI-native capabilities for smarter, faster, and more scalable quoting across all distribution channels.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own multi-year product strategy for the quoting and distribution platform (quote/bind flow, API/integrations layer, vendor data ecosystem).

  • Influence and shape company-level prioritization for the quoting platform, building alignment across product, engineering, distribution, and business leadership.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in distribution technology, comparative raters, AI, and insurtech partnerships and translate them into a roadmap.
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for quoting and distribution (discovery, prioritization, requirements, delivery, post-launch performance).
  • Lead cross-functional execution of major platform initiatives with Engineering, Partnership/Distribution, Marketing, and Insurance business teams.
  • Translate integration and business requirements into PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Own key metrics including GWP growth through distribution channels and quote-to-bind conversion rate.

  • Build trust with distribution partners, agents, and stakeholders through consistent delivery and clear communication.
  • Communicate strategy, tradeoffs, and outcomes to leadership with data-driven narratives.
  • Drive evolution of the quoting and binding platform to enable faster, more reliable, scalable quote experiences across channels.
  • Own the API and integrations layer, including vendor data integrations, third-party partner connections, and quoting data quality/governance.
  • Champion AI-native thinking for quoting workflows, data enrichment, and partner experiences to increase automation, accuracy, and intelligence at scale.

Requirements

  • 7+ years product management experience, including full ownership of product backlog and leading end-to-end software development lifecycle with a team of at least four engineers.
  • Experience working with or building quoting, rating, or distribution platforms in P&C insurance or related industries.
  • Experience owning API-heavy or integration-dense platforms: managing third-party vendors, partner APIs, and data pipelines as core product responsibilities.
  • Partner or channel management exposure working with agents, distribution partners, or external sales channels.
  • Proven track record bridging business and engineering by translating ambiguous business problems into clear technical requirements and explaining the “why.”
  • Demonstrated track record improving distribution and conversion metrics (GWP growth, quote-to-bind rates, channel activation) at meaningful scale.
  • Ability to set a compelling vision and strategy for a technical domain while driving rigorous near-term execution.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across business, technical, and executive audiences.
  • Data-driven decision making and strong analytical skills; ability to define success metrics, analyze results, and iterate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Product management experience in insurance, financial services, or an adjacent industry.
