Description

Lead and manage the end-to-end period close process, including Saracen reporting, balance sheet reconciliation, and substantiation. Oversee and improve financial statement closure procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance, while driving strategic and tactical transformation initiatives in financial reporting processes. Ensure assurance, balance sheet substantiation, and adherence to financial control standards, collaborating with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end period close process, including Saracen reporting, balance sheet reconciliation, and substantiation
• Oversee and improve financial statement closure procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Drive strategic and tactical transformation initiatives within the financial reporting processes
• Ensure effective assurance, balance sheet substantiation, and adherence to financial control standards
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews
• Conduct assurance and compliance reviews, including SOX-related assessments
• Manage stakeholder relationships across financial reporting and control teams
• Support process optimization through new technology and best practices

Requirements

• CA or MBA with 10+ years of relevant experience in financial services or similar industries
• Proven expertise in ledger close, IFRS, Finrep, and regulatory reporting
• Strong understanding of IFRS, Local GAAP, and financial statement closure procedures
• High proficiency in accounting principles, risk management, and controls
• Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder engagement
• Project management skills with experience in PowerPoint and presentation delivery
• Fluent English
