As a Senior Financial Accounting Leader, you will drive critical financial closing processes, ensure compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards, and lead strategic transformation initiatives that improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting. This role offers the opportunity to influence international financial operations and advance leadership capabilities in a dynamic environment.

Your main responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end period close process, including Saracen reporting, balance sheet reconciliation, and substantiation.
  • Oversee and improve financial statement closure procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Drive strategic and tactical transformation initiatives within financial reporting processes.
  • Ensure effective assurance, balance sheet substantiation, and adherence to financial control standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews.
  • Conduct assurance and compliance reviews, including SOX-related assessments.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across financial reporting and control teams.
  • Support process optimization through new technology and best practices.

You’re ideal for this role if you have

  • CA or MBA with 10+ years of relevant experience in financial services or similar industries.
  • Proven expertise in ledger close, IFRS, Finrep, and regulatory reporting.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, Local GAAP, and financial statement closure procedures.
  • High proficiency in accounting principles, risk management, and controls.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder engagement.
  • Project management skills with experience in PowerPoint and presentation delivery.

It is a strong plus if you have

  • Experience with FTP, Saracen, and Tableau.
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance reviews.
  • Statutory reporting experience.

Language required for the role

  • Fluent English.
