Description

Process and reconcile intercompany (Allied) transactions between parties, ensuring timely and efficient processing. Monitor Intercompany processes like IDoc and ICR, analyze and resolve imbalances and variances (including aged items above threshold), and adhere to a strict closing schedule. Work independently, develop and maintain department accounting procedures and manuals (SOPs), support audit processes, and contribute to continuous improvement and special projects.

Responsibilities

• Process intercompany (Allied) transactions and perform reconciliations between parties
• Prepare and check intercompany statements
• Ensure timely and efficient processing of all Allied intercompany transactions
• Monitor intercompany processes like IDoc and ICR
• Analyze and resolve intercompany imbalances and fix variances
• Track aged items and variances; escalate as needed
• Adhere to strict closing schedule
• Reconcile general ledger accounts
• Assist in and coordinate audit processes by providing/collecting documentation and explanations
• Work fully independently
• Develop and maintain department accounting procedures and manuals (SOPs)
• Assist with special projects as assigned
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and support implementation
• Solve complex problems and coach others; build organizational knowledge
• Act as a knowledge resource for colleagues; maintain relationships with team and business partners
• Fulfill team leaders/managers instructions and requests

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Experience in AP or AR
• University degree in Finance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• English language proficiency
• SAP/Oracle knowledge is an asset
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
