Expert Manufacturing Test Engineer

Your Role

  • Collaborate cross-functionally on requirements management, including calibration, testing, programming, product labeling, functional safety, and cybersecurity.
  • Develop specifications for end-of-line (EOL) test equipment in line with customer and Aptiv specifications.
  • Design and industrialize test equipment according to Lean manufacturing principles; continuously improve cycle time, machine cost, and test coverage.
  • Exchange best practices and lessons learned globally, including active cooperation with the MTT group.
  • Acquire and maintain standards for test procedures and test equipment.
  • Represent the required test concept and planning status in customer communications.
  • Provide technical training to other test engineers.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of experience with measurement technologies and principles.
  • Good knowledge of programming languages.
  • Good knowledge of automotive-industry communication protocols.
  • Experience with instrumentation and machine safety in accordance with EU standards.
  • Automotive-industry background preferred.
  • Business-fluent English.
  • Good communication and project-management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work in a global network environment.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, proactive work style.
