Description

Implement technical enhancements in SAP-based Finance applications to support John Deere’s end-to-end enterprise finance processes.

Responsibilities

• Support IT-enabled operational business processes in Accounting & Finance (primary responsibility for Region 2/EMEA).
• Configure, develop, and test solutions and enhancements in SAP-based Finance applications.
• Evaluate, design, and implement SAP application enhancements to improve cost, quality, and performance.
• Collaborate within an agile Scrum team (Developers, Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, Product Owner) to define Finance development and enhancement requirements.
• Use agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Create professional documentation in English.

Requirements

• Good hands-on knowledge of SAP Finance.
• Solid working knowledge of Finance & Accounting areas: General ledger, Tax, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable.
• Basic software development skills with practical coding experience—preferably SAP ABAP.
• Exposure to SAP Fiori (or similar) is a plus.
• SAP FI/CO configuration experience, including customization within SAP Implementation Guide (IMG).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Central Finance (CFIN) environments is beneficial.
• Basic knowledge and initial experience with agile ways of working (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Good knowledge of creating technical specifications.
• Strong command of English (written and spoken).
• Completed degree from a University or comparable qualification, combined with +4 years of professional experience.
