SAP Support Specialist

Mid • On-site

Krakow, MA, Poland

About the role

We are looking for a service-minded and structured SAP Support Specialist to join the Global IT Service Desk in Kraków. This is a small, distributed team. Today there is one SAP Support Specialist based in Denmark; with you, the team will be two. You will be the SAP support presence in Poland, working closely with your colleague across the border every day.

This role offers real ownership from day one. You will be one of two people the business turns to when SAP does not work as expected. The work is hands-on, with a significant part of the day focused on classic first-line SAP support: receiving, triaging, and resolving incidents and service requests from users. The role also includes recurring operational tasks such as SAP transports, VIM user access, Internal Control reporting, and cooperation with colleagues in IT, Finance, Operations, and Internal Controls across several countries.

What you will be doing

  • Provide first-line support for SAP incidents and service requests.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related user issues; escalate to second- and third-line support when needed.
  • Process and quality-check SAP transports.
  • Manage VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) user access and support Internal Control reporting activities.
  • Monitor SAP-related automation and robot processes, handing tasks to the RPA team when adjustments or new automation are needed.
  • Create and maintain documentation and knowledge articles.
  • Contribute to process improvements and service-quality initiatives.
  • Work closely with colleagues across multiple countries and business functions.

What we are looking for

Must have

  • Experience supporting users in an SAP environment, for example from a service desk, application support, or as a key user or super user.
  • Previous experience in IT support, Service Desk, application support, or a similar role.
  • A structured approach to troubleshooting and patience to follow a case through to resolution.
  • Fluent written and spoken Polish and English.
  • Ability to work independently while staying connected in a remote, cross-border team.
  • Customer-focused mindset and strong communication skills.
  • Accuracy and a compliance mindset, as VIM access and Internal Control reporting are audited areas.

Nice to have

  • Experience with SAP transports.
  • Experience with VIM (Vendor Invoice Management).
  • Experience working with automation, RPA, or robot-based processes.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Ivanti, or similar.
  • Experience from an international enterprise environment.

What we offer

Compensation and benefits

  • Private medical care together with dental care.
  • Edenred lunch card.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Life insurance.
  • MyBenefit and multisport program.
  • Two additional holiday days.
  • Employee events and integrations.

Work setup and development

  • Hybrid working model: 50% home and 50% office, with a minimum of three days per week in the Kraków office.
  • Genuine ownership in a team of two; fixes and improvements have visible impact.
  • A role in a Group IT function, with daily contact with colleagues in Denmark and across the business.
  • Exposure to SAP, RPA, ITSM, and international stakeholders, with room to grow in these areas.
