Junior SAP FI/CO Business Consultant – Global IT

Are you at the beginning of your SAP FI/CO journey, with a strong interest in finance processes and digital solutions? You will join a global team, build SAP FI/CO competencies, contribute to the finance agenda, and support large-scale business transformation projects while helping to keep solutions stable and effective.

How you will make an impact

You will support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of finance solutions. Working closely with experienced consultants, business stakeholders, solution architects, and developers, you will help translate business needs into SAP system solutions and gradually build expertise within FI/CO processes.

You will be part of the Finance team within Global IT, developing, maintaining, and supporting digital solutions for Finance, Procurement, HR, and Farmer Service processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support design, configuration, testing, and documentation of SAP FI modules, focusing on General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR), and Asset Accounting (FI-AA)
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and senior colleagues to understand financial accounting requirements and translate them into SAP system solutions
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including asset closing, lease accounting adjustments, and bank reconciliation
• Contribute to process improvements and automation within Financial Accounting, focusing on efficiency, controls, and standardization
• Learn and support how SAP solutions ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and global accounting standards (IFRS/local GAAP)
• Work with cross-functional teams, including Controlling, Procurement, Treasury, and IT, to ensure integrated end-to-end processes
• Support incident resolution, root-cause analysis, testing, and smaller system enhancements
• Support SAP S/4HANA transformation activities and build knowledge in FI-AA, leasing, and banking capabilities

• Strong interest in SAP FI/CO, finance processes, and digital transformation
• Curiosity, a structured approach, and clear communication with business and IT colleagues
• Some experience with SAP FI/CO, finance processes, ERP systems, or relevant education in finance, IT, business administration, or a similar field
• Good communication skills and ability to build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
• Interest in understanding business needs and translating them into practical system support and improvements
• Team-oriented approach in cross-functional environments
• Ownership, initiative, and eagerness to learn
• Openness to feedback and contribution to a supportive, collaborative team culture
• Willingness to travel as needed to support and implement solutions in business units, expected to be a maximum of 20 days per year
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working is an advantage
• Fluent English
