Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Analyst to join our downstream team within a large-scale Core Banking Transformation Program. The program aims to modernize the banking landscape by replacing multiple legacy local systems with a single Nordic core banking platform. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into well-defined features and user stories, and ensuring a seamless handover to development teams.

You will independently drive the entire requirements lifecycle, from stakeholder engagement and requirements elicitation through documentation, refinement, and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
  • Translate requirements into features, epics, and user stories
  • Drive requirements through the full lifecycle, from discovery to handover to development teams
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and other teams across the organization
  • Manage dependencies and support delivery in a complex, large-scale banking environment
  • Quickly build domain knowledge and contribute effectively within the program

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst and/or Senior IT Analyst in complex enterprise environments
  • Hands-on experience working with Data Warehouse (DWH/CDW) and reporting solutions
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data lineage, and data mapping practices
  • Proven experience within the banking sector, preferably in a large, complex financial institution
  • Experience working in large-scale transformation programs involving 300+ team members
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and/or other data analysis and querying tools
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations and collaborate effectively across multiple teams and dependencies
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
