Description

Device Cloud Engineering develops software solutions that enable users to provision, configure and upgrade Motorola devices and entire fleets. The team owns end-to-end software development life-cycle, including creation and implementation of requirements, unit testing, functional testing, continuous integration and delivery. The role builds cutting-edge cloud-based solutions using primarily C# with a modern software architecture spanning from hardware-level integration to high-level abstractions, and leverages advanced AI tools to accelerate development.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of end-to-end features
• Develop cloud-based solutions for device fleet provisioning, configuration, and upgrades
• Participate in creating and implementing requirements
• Perform unit testing and functional testing
• Contribute to continuous integration and delivery
• Work within agile, cross-functional teams

Requirements

• Around 4 years of hands-on experience in C# software development and the .NET ecosystem
• Practical experience with Cloud Computing, preferably Microsoft Azure (or equivalent AWS/GCP platforms)
• Proficient with Microsoft-based development tools, particularly Visual Studio and VS Code
• Solid experience with GIT version control and branching workflows
• Good understanding of clean code practices, software design patterns, and unit testing
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and practical experience working in cross-functional teams
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, team spirit, and adaptability
• Communicative English (written and spoken) to work comfortably in an international environment
• Hands-on experience or active engagement with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to optimize workflows
