C# Cloud Engineer

Device Cloud Engineering develops software that enables users to provision, configure, and upgrade Motorola devices and entire fleets. Its products support customers worldwide, including public safety organizations such as police, firefighters, and military, as well as commercial customers such as car manufacturers, theme parks, and railways.

The team is responsible for the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including requirements creation and implementation, unit testing, functional testing, continuous integration, and delivery.

Description

Join an agile, cross-functional team as a C# Cloud Engineer and take ownership of end-to-end features. Develop cloud-based solutions that support first responders and communities.

Products are built primarily in C#, using a modern software architecture spanning hardware-level integration through high-level abstractions. The team uses agile methodologies and advanced AI tools to accelerate development and innovation.

Basic Requirements

• Around 4 years of hands-on experience in C# software development and the .NET ecosystem
• Practical experience with cloud computing, preferably Microsoft Azure or equivalent AWS/GCP platforms
• Proficiency with Microsoft-based development tools, particularly Visual Studio and VS Code
• Solid experience with Git version control and branching workflows
• Good understanding of clean-code practices, software design patterns, and unit testing
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and practical experience working in cross-functional teams
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, team spirit, and adaptability
• Communicative English, written and spoken, for an international environment
• Hands-on experience or active engagement with AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, to optimize workflows
