AWS Senior Cloud Engineer / Senior Devops

What you’ll be working on

• Developing and integrating solutions within an AWS-based environment
• Automating processes and infrastructure
• Building and improving cloud-native solutions
• Working with APIs, integrations and different data/platform components
• Supporting CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code initiatives
• Writing production-quality code, primarily in Python
• Collaborating with an international team in English
• Taking ownership of technical tasks from requirements through implementation

What we’re looking for

• 6+ years of professional experience in IT, with strong experience in a DevOps / Cloud / Software Engineering role
• Solid hands-on experience with AWS
• Very good Python skills – this is a key requirement
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code
• Knowledge of CI/CD and automation
• Good understanding of cloud architecture and modern engineering practices
• Familiarity with Bash / scripting
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for delivered solutions
• Good communication skills and confidence working in an international environment
• English at B2/C1 level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with GenAI / AI-based solutions
• Docker and/or Kubernetes
• Terraform
• Experience with React, Next.js or Streamlit
• Full-stack development experience
• Experience with Azure or GCP
• Experience working with enterprise clients
• Consulting experience
• Experience with PoCs and taking solutions towards production

What is important in this role?

This is not a traditional Cloud Operations or System Administration position.

The project has a stronger Development focus, so we are looking for someone who can code, automate and build solutions independently. AWS knowledge is essential, but the ability to combine software engineering + cloud + DevOps is what will make someone successful in this role.
