Senior Software Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join a global product team within the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.

What you’ll work on

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be involved across the full software development lifecycle — from designing scalable solutions and APIs to delivering modern user-facing functionality.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing scalable backend services and REST APIs

• Developing modern web applications and intuitive user-facing functionality

• Contributing to system architecture and technical decision-making

• Designing and implementing cloud-native solutions

• Building and improving CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments

• Ensuring software quality through automated testing and code reviews

• Working closely with Product Owners, architects, engineers and business stakeholders

• Supporting platform reliability, observability and operational excellence

• Contributing to an agile, collaborative engineering culture

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who brings 5+ years of professional software development experience and is comfortable taking ownership of technical solutions.

You’ll ideally have:

• Strong experience with .NET / ASP.NET Core and/or Python

• Hands-on experience building REST APIs

• Solid frontend experience with Vue 3 and TypeScript

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure or AWS

• Practical knowledge of CI/CD, automated testing and DevOps practices

• A strong understanding of software architecture and scalable solution design

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Experience working in regulated environments is a strong advantage

• Fluent English, both written and spoken
