Join a team developing enterprise user-authentication software and researching passwordless multi-factor authentication for Windows and Active Directory environments. This is a greenfield R&D project focused on Windows and Active Directory security.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform security research on authentication protocols: LDAP, Kerberos, NTLM and SMB
  • Research Windows and Windows Server security
  • Research MFA integration possibilities with Windows and Windows Server
  • Research Active Directory security
  • Research Kerberos and NTLM authentication protocol security
  • Research MFA integration possibilities with Active Directory
  • Research use of Trusted Platform Module (TPM) on Windows for secure user authentication
  • Research use of Bluetooth on Windows for secure user authentication
  • Develop enterprise software solutions for Windows user authentication
  • Develop locally on a company laptop and in external testing environments
  • Analyze requirements, create concepts, and discuss them with the project and product manager
  • Monitor code quality and perform code reviews
  • Design, implement, and execute development and integration tests

Skills You Have

  • Experience with reverse engineering and tools such as IDA Free/Pro and Ghidra
  • Experience with Windows software development, for example C++
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and GPO
  • Knowledge of Windows API
  • Knowledge of Kerberos and NTLM authentication protocols
  • Knowledge of Windows technical security standards and internal controls
  • Familiarity with VBA and PowerShell scripting
  • Ability to communicate confidently with peers
  • Knowledge of Polish or English

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with REST and/or C#
  • Experience with the Qt development framework
  • Formal education or advanced degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or similar; and/or demonstrated equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of software application security
  • Demonstrated success as part of a distributed team
