JD Edwards Functional Consultant (Sales & Distribution)

Seeking a JD Edwards Functional Consultant (Sales & Distribution) to join a collaborative, international ERP team working across Europe. The role focuses on improving order-to-cash processes in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) while contributing to project delivery and operational support. You will support process redesign, system optimization, and stakeholder collaboration, bridging business needs and technical ERP capabilities.

This position combines hands-on functional expertise in JD Edwards with business process analysis and continuous improvement. It requires strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a structured problem-solving mindset.

Main Responsibilities

• Support analysis and functional expertise within JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1), especially in Sales & Distribution processes
• Participate in workshops, identify process or system issues, and propose improvements aligned with best practices
• Collaborate with project managers to support planning, timelines, and solution design
• Review, prioritize, and contribute to improvement initiatives within E1 order-to-cash processes
• Develop business cases and support the implementation of process and system enhancements
• Analyze order flows, identify transactional issues, and support resolution of operational inconsistencies
• Provide occasional third-level support and recommend long-term problem-management solutions
• Produce high-quality documentation, including training materials, design documentation, and change requests
• Utilize modern E1 tools such as Orchestrator, UDOs, E1 Pages, and BI Publisher reports

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1), particularly in Sales & Distribution modules
• Strong knowledge of order-to-cash processes and related business workflows
• Experience in international or multi-country environments; consulting or multiple implementations is a plus
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, or a related field
• Proactive mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement
• Fluency in English for global collaboration
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a distributed team environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with advanced pricing and advanced preferences in JD Edwards
• Familiarity with EDI and web order interfaces, from order intake through invoicing
• Exposure to Orchestrator, UDOs, E1 Pages, and BI Publisher reports
• Experience working in Agile or structured delivery environments
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and coordination skills
