Description

Experienced Front Office Application Support Analyst needed to join a high-performing Global Markets team supporting critical intraday Risk and P&L platforms. The role is a key support contact for Front Office users across Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities, with future expansion into Equities.

Work closely with traders, technology teams and business stakeholders in a fast-paced global investment-banking environment to drive platform stability, operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Front Office users across FICC for all intraday risk-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot complex end-to-end trade-processing and market-data flows.
  • Take ownership of onboarding new business lines, workflows and support processes.
  • Build strong relationships with traders, application development teams and infrastructure partners.
  • Proactively identify operational risks, recurring issues and system bottlenecks.
  • Drive automation and develop tools to improve efficiency, stability and monitoring capabilities.
  • Manage incidents and problems through their full lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and root-cause analysis.
  • Oversee event-management processes, including monitoring, alerting and escalation management.
  • Define and implement monitoring enhancements and operational best practices.
  • Support capacity, performance, resiliency and platform-stability initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience providing direct application support to Front Office trading desks.
  • Strong understanding of Fixed Income products and trading workflows.
  • Knowledge of market-data feeds and market-data flow architecture.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.
  • Strong Unix/Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Solid SQL knowledge and database-querying experience.
  • Working knowledge of Python for automation and operational tooling.
  • Understanding of ITIL-based support processes and best practices.
  • Exposure to Grid Computing environments.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with advanced incident- and event-management platforms.
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
  • Knowledge of additional programming or scripting languages.
