You will act as emagine’s senior representative within the client, accountable for delivery outcomes, consultant oversight, and the continued growth of the account.Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will lead delivery across critical initiatives, contribute directly where required, and ensure successful execution within a fast-paced, high-impact environment.Client & Technology EnvironmentYou will be operating within a complex investment banking technology landscape, supporting delivery across front-office, risk, and trading systems.Our consultants are typically engaged in:Python-based development within distributed, enterprise-scale systemsDelivery of risk, pricing, and analytics platforms supporting global marketsWorking across multi-asset environments (e.g. fixed income, commodities, equities)Collaborating with traders, quants, and engineering teams in high-performance environmentsIncreasingly, programmes are also focused on:Integration of AI and data-driven capabilities into trading, risk, and operational workflowsDevelopment of data platforms handling large structured and unstructured datasetsLeveraging automation and advanced analytics to enhance decision-making and efficiencyAs Client Delivery Director, you will be expected to engage credibly across this landscape—bridging architecture, delivery, and business outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery Leadership & Execution:Lead and deliver complex technology and transformation initiatives within the client environmentOwn delivery outcomes, ensuring quality, timelines, and objectives are metActively contribute to delivery where required, stepping in to drive executionClient Engagement & On-Site Leadership:Act as the primary senior contact within the client environmentBuild and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholdersNavigate organisational complexity and drive alignment across teamsConsultant Leadership & Team ManagementLead and manage emagine consultants deployed within the accountEnsure alignment, performance, and delivery quality across all engagementsProvide guidance, support, and escalation management as requiredAct as the central point of coordination between consultants, client stakeholders, and emagineFoster a high-performing, collaborative delivery environment on-siteAccount Growth & Commercial Ownership:Identify opportunities to expand services within the accountSupport growth of the engagement footprint and long-term client relationshipContribute to commercial discussions and strategic account developmentOperational & Risk Management:Ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the accountProactively manage risks, dependencies, and delivery challengesMaintain high levels of client satisfaction and delivery excellenceSkills & ExperienceTechnical Background:Strong foundation in software engineering, systems design, or architectureCurrently operating at solution or enterprise architecture levelStrong Python capability, with experience delivering within complex systemsAble to engage credibly with technical teams, architects, and senior stakeholdersDomain & Industry Experience:Experience working on or alongside front-office, risk, or trading platforms within investment banking or capital marketsUnderstanding of market risk concepts (e.g. VaR, FRTB) and financial instrumentsExposure to multi-asset environments (e.g. fixed income, commodities, equities, derivatives)Experience working with large-scale data systems and enterprise platformsExperience10+ years’ experience across software engineering, architecture, or technology delivery roles, with progression into leadership positions within complex enterprise environmentsProven track record delivering complex programmes and initiatives within large-scale organisationsExperience operating in client-facing, on-site, or embedded roles within enterprise environmentsExperience within financial services or capital markets, or similarly complex, regulated industriesProven experience building senior client relationships that have contributed to account growth, expansion opportunities, and increased consulting footprintCore
