System Engineer

Employer: International sensor company

Location: Bielsko-Biała (hybrid work model with mandatory office visits – 1 day every week)

Rate: 13,000–17,000 PLN on an employment contract

Your Role

• Provide 2nd- and 3rd-level support for complex IT issues, analyzing problems to find root causes.
• Ensure stability and performance of IT systems while proactively improving them through automation and best practices.
• Maintain documentation and task tracking in Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Coordinate and support application and infrastructure releases with well-documented deployments.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of IT security measures, including endpoint protection (Microsoft Defender) and compliance monitoring.

Your Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience in system engineering or a similar role.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Server and Client environments.
• Hands-on experience with AD / Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, and GPO.
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation; knowledge of Python is an advantage.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), including VM management.
• Experience with cloud-based virtual desktop solutions is a strong advantage.
• Good understanding of IT security practices, including endpoint protection, compliance, and monitoring.
• Basic network troubleshooting skills are an advantage.
• Experience with release processes and DLP policies is optional.
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent professional training.
• Fluent English; German or other languages are an advantage.
