Role Overview

Develop a new version of a platform for facility and personal security systems, focused on fire detection and suppression.

Team & Work Model

• Team of up to 10 people in Poland, collaborating with colleagues in Western Europe
• Hybrid model: 80% on-site and 20% remote
• Office in South Krakow

Compensation

• Regular–Senior salary: 16,000–21,000–25,000 PLN gross per month under an employment contract
• 90% tax-deductible expenses (PKUP)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop containerized Azure applications using .NET 7.
• Build a gateway integrated with in-house fire-protection hardware.
• Develop C# services that handle critical logic, including automated notifications to fire departments and emergency services.
• Implement .NET 7 solutions running on Linux.
• Write unit and integration tests, manage CI/CD pipelines, develop features, and maintain the system; the approximate split is 70% development and 30% maintenance.
• Work in an Agile, cross-border team spanning Krakow and Western Europe in the same time zone.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of commercial C# experience.
• Proven experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Docker experience on Linux is a strong advantage.
• Technical degree in Computer Science, Automation, Robotics, Electronics, or a related field.
• Professional English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Collaborative, team-oriented, conflict-free working style.
• Availability to work from the Krakow office four days per week.
