Experienced Data Platform Engineer

As an Experienced Data Platform Engineer, you will join an international team responsible for developing and maintaining the Data Foundation Platform. You will contribute to the continuous evolution of a cloud-based data platform, ensuring scalability, reliability and performance across the data ecosystem.

How you will make an impact

  • Lead the technical implementation of complex features and services while improving architecture and reducing technical debt.
  • Mentor and enable other developers through code reviews, technical coaching and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Architects and product teams to shape technical direction and non-functional requirements.
  • Design and implement robust services, APIs and data pipelines, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Drive best practices within code quality, testing, automation and observability.
  • Evolve CI/CD pipelines and strengthen platform reliability, performance and resilience.
  • Improve security and compliance by integrating security testing and remediation into development processes.

  • Several years of experience developing and maintaining enterprise-scale data platforms.
  • Strong expertise within Azure Databricks, Azure services, Terraform, Python/PySpark and SQL.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, GitHub and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Solid understanding of architectural patterns, integration design and modern software engineering practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD, test automation and DevOps methodologies.
  • Knowledge of observability, performance optimization, resilience patterns and incident management.
  • A security-first mindset with experience integrating security and compliance into development processes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, combined with the ability to mentor and guide colleagues.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
