Our mission is simple: to deliver business value through digital solutions that meet real business needs.

How you will make an impact

As a Senior IT Developer, you will join the Commercial IT Product team supporting Innovation and Consumer Intelligence. You will help develop and maintain data-driven solutions that enable better insights, decision-making and business outcomes. Working closely with business stakeholders and team members, you will translate requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.

Together with the team, you will build and maintain data products on a data platform primarily built around Azure Databricks, Power BI, and Microsoft Foundry. Solutions will be built using PySpark and SQL, with deployment via Terraform and version control in Azure DevOps or GitHub.

Your key responsibilities include

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, data models and digital solutions that support business needs.
  • Build scalable ETL/ELT processes and contribute to high-quality data engineering practices.
  • Support the continuous improvement of existing solutions and development processes.
  • Work closely with developers, architects, IT specialists and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and maintainable solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of modern cloud-based data platforms and applications.

What will make you successful

You are curious, analytical and have strong collaboration skills. You enjoy solving complex problems, working with data, and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You strive to get the best out of collaboration and support colleagues.

We imagine the ideal candidate brings

  • A degree in information systems, computer science, engineering or similar.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Data Warehouse Developer, BI Developer, SQL Developer or Data Engineer.

  • Experience developing with Spark in Databricks.
  • Proficiency in vector databases, embeddings, LLMs, data agents and generative AI.
  • Proficiency in SQL and PySpark.
  • Proficiency in any ETL/ELT/integration/workflow/task-automation tool, such as Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, Azure Functions or SSIS.
  • Knowledge of data-engineering best practices and scalable solution design in a lakehouse environment.
  • A proactive, positive mindset and willingness to learn new technologies, especially within AI.

It is an advantage but not a requirement if you also have

  • Databricks experience.
  • Experience with basic data science concepts and LLM knowledge.
  • Azure cloud experience.
  • Terraform knowledge.
  • Knowledge of deployment concepts and containerization.
  • Experience in web application development.
