GRC Consultant (German)

Your role

As a GRC Consultant, you will help strengthen risk management and governance practices by supporting projects and programs in identifying, assessing, and managing risks. You will provide independent oversight of risks and controls, contribute to effective risk reporting, and help ensure alignment with established risk management frameworks and governance models.

Your tasks

• Develop and prepare risk reporting, monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigation actions, and intervene when needed.
• Support risk management activities in alignment with the Three Lines of Defense model and Operational Risk Management frameworks.
• Provide independent oversight and challenge the effectiveness of risks and controls before and after project implementation.
• Advise projects and programs on identifying, monitoring, measuring, and managing existing and emerging risks.
• Assess risk management practices and support continuous improvement of risk controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective risk governance and compliance processes.
• Contribute to the implementation and enhancement of GRC-related solutions and processes.
• Support the monitoring and management of organizational risk exposure.

Your profile

• At least 3 years of experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC).
• Experience creating high-level and low-level solution designs.
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles and their application to solution and application architectures.
• Expertise in GRC areas such as IT Risk Management, Audit Management, Compliance, and Data Privacy.
• Experience with Archer and/or ServiceNow preferred.
• Confident professional communication in German.
• Familiarity with DORA requirements and related risk management practices preferred.
• Relevant certification, completed or in progress, such as ISO 27001, NIST, CISA, or a similar credential.
