Your Practice
You'll be the cornerstone of a growing Gastroenterology program backed by the hospital and supported by an experienced team.
Your support includes:
- 2 Advanced Practice Providers: 1 APRN and 1 PA-C
- 2 dedicated Medical Assistants
- Strong administrative and clinical support to maximize efficiency
Your practice will include:
- Colonoscopy
- Upper endoscopy (EGD)
- General outpatient Gastroenterology
- Dedicated endoscopy time built into your weekly schedule

- Monday–Friday

Who We're Looking For
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Fellows encouraged to apply
- Comfortable performing colonoscopy and EGD
- Interest in helping grow a regional GI program is welcomed

About the Hospital and Practice Environment
The hospital is a 273-bed acute and skilled-care facility serving more than 200,000 residents across southeastern Kentucky and parts of Tennessee. It offers a broad range of specialties and provides advanced technology, including a 264-slice cardiac CTA and two fully equipped cath labs, alongside strong referral networks and experienced support teams.
A $100 million expansion is underway, including an 80,000-square-foot patient-care wing expected to be completed in early 2027. The project will add private inpatient rooms, expand the emergency department, and increase ICU capacity.
The facility operates an on-site helipad, partners with air medical transport services, and owns two ambulances for patient transfers. Physicians are offered autonomy to shape their practice, clinical tools, and support for work-life balance.
