QA Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Manual testing (minimum 70% FTE)
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests for the main e-commerce platform (Web and API)
• Writing and executing automated test scenarios using Java, Selenium, RestAssured, and Playwright
• Performing manual exploratory testing as needed to ensure comprehensive quality coverage
• Creating and maintaining test documentation, test cases, and bug reports
• Identifying, reporting, and tracking defects in collaboration with development teams
• Contributing to test strategy and improving test coverage across the project
• Participating in team work planning and test effort estimation
• Analyzing test results and reporting quality metrics to stakeholders
• Collaborating with developers, QA engineers, and business teams throughout the development lifecycle
• Sharing testing knowledge and helping improve team quality practices

Requirements

• At least 2–4 years of experience in a Tester role
• Experience testing CRM and/or e-commerce applications
• Ability to create test cases and documentation and report and analyze defects
• Knowledge of testing principles, techniques, processes, and the software development lifecycle
• Familiarity with testing tools
• Experience working with Postman
• Basic knowledge of HTTP and REST APIs
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and curiosity
• Strong communication skills
• Initial experience writing automated tests and willingness to develop in this area
• English proficiency sufficient for comfortable use of technical documentation

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming in Java or C#
• Initial software test automation experience, preferably with Selenium or Playwright
• Experience with or willingness to participate in implementing and maintaining automated Web/API tests
• Ability to prepare automated test scenarios using BDD approaches such as Cucumber or Gherkin
