Role

ServiceNow is a global tool used widely to manage business processes for enterprise clients. As a HAM Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced hardware asset management solutions. You will ensure alignment with best practices and compliance requirements while collaborating with procurement, finance, and IT operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design and architecture for Hardware Asset Management solutions within ServiceNow.
  • Design and optimize processes for hardware asset lifecycle, procurement, stockroom, and inventory management.
  • Integrate HAM with other ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB) and external procurement systems.
  • Ensure asset governance, compliance, and accurate data management across the platform.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
  • Define HAM policies and workflows to support procurement and disposal processes.
  • Oversee HAM reporting and dashboard development to support asset utilization and cost optimization.

Skills and Attributes

  • Comprehensive understanding of the platform and confidence working through implementation, customization, or maintenance projects.
  • Deep knowledge of the ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management module.
  • Hands-on experience with stockroom and asset lifecycle processes.
  • Familiarity with hardware procurement workflows and vendor integrations.
  • Experience in CMDB and ITSM alignment for HAM data accuracy.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • At least 5+ years of ServiceNow implementation experience.
  • Proven track record with HAM and asset lifecycle design.
  • ServiceNow CAD or CIS certification; HAM specialization preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL practices related to ITAM.
  • English (C2) or other European languages are an advantage, but not mandatory.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or economic field.
