ServiceNow Technical Architect - IRM

The role suits individuals who want to expand their product knowledge, collaborate with global stakeholders across product workflows, initiate discussions, and oversee projects through post-go-live activities.

The opportunity

ServiceNow is a global tool used to manage Enterprise business processes. As an architect, you will collaborate with project teams involved in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of NowPlatform.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and implementation of the ServiceNow IRM module, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational standards.
• Develop and maintain the architecture for IRM solutions, integrating with other ServiceNow modules and third-party applications as needed.
• Oversee customization and configuration of the ServiceNow platform for IRM requirements, including risk assessment, compliance management, and audit management.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Lead a team of developers in creating custom applications, workflows, and reports within the ServiceNow platform.
• Implement testing and quality-assurance best practices to ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
• Monitor system performance and usage metrics; recommend improvements and optimizations.
• Provide training and support to end users and administrators for effective use of IRM solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical designs, configurations, and processes to support knowledge transfer and compliance.
• Stay current with ServiceNow releases and IRM trends, promoting continuous platform improvement and innovation.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with implementation and operation of IRM solutions.
• Ensure all IRM solutions comply with applicable regulations and organizational policies.

Skills and attributes for success

To excel in this role, you must have a comprehensive understanding of the platform and confidence in implementation, customization, or maintenance projects. This may be demonstrated through:

• Outstanding knowledge of NowPlatform architecture with at least 4 years of experience.
• Experience in product customizations, integrations, implementation, or maintenance.
• Experience in project activities as a ServiceNow Technical Lead in Integrated Risk Management (GRC).

To qualify for the role, you must have

• At least 4 years of ServiceNow implementation experience.
• Advanced ServiceNow CAD or CIS certification for IRM.
• Demonstrated experience with at least two programming languages, such as JavaScript, C#, or Java.
• Proven experience and advanced understanding of ITSM and GRC.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• English at C1 level or another European language.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or economic field.
