UX/UI Team Leader

We create digital products that help millions of people plan and book their holidays. We are looking for a Team Leader UX/UI to lead and develop the design team while shaping the future of products across the CEE region.

In this role, you will combine people leadership with hands-on collaboration across Product, Technology, and Business teams. You will support designers’ growth, strengthen design culture, define standards, and ensure user experience remains at the heart of product decisions.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of UX/UI Designers in their professional development.
  • Plan the team’s work and allocate designers across product initiatives.
  • Ensure high design quality through reviews, coaching, and UX best practices.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Business Owners, Analysts, Design System, UX Writing, and Engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Support Discovery and Delivery activities and contribute to product planning.
  • Present UX recommendations to stakeholders and advocate for decisions based on user research and data.
  • Identify project risks, improve design processes, drive the adoption of AI to enhance design workflows and team efficiency, and foster effective collaboration across teams.

Requirements

  • Experience leading or managing a UX/UI Design team, coaching and developing designers while building a collaborative team culture.
  • Knowledge of UX KPIs and measuring design impact.
  • Strong collaboration skills across Product, Business, and Engineering teams.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and presenting design solutions to stakeholders.
  • Ability to use user research and analytics to inform design decisions.
  • Strong communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • A proactive mindset and ownership of design quality and team outcomes.
  • Fluency in Polish and English at a minimum B2 level.

Nice to have

  • Experience defining or driving UX strategy.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG.
  • Experience developing or scaling a Design System.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
