The Work

As Salesforce Technical Architect, you will design and oversee the end-to-end architecture of complex Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with client business objectives and enterprise technical standards.

You will provide hands-on technical governance across the full project lifecycle, from discovery and design through deployment.

You will make critical decisions on platform configuration, custom development, data modeling, and third-party integrations, balancing scalability, security, and performance.

The work location may include a mix of remote work, onsite client work, and work in an office, depending on project circumstances. Some in-person time is required for collaboration, learning, and relationship-building with clients and colleagues.

Here’s What You’ll Need

• 8–12+ years in Salesforce delivery, including 3+ years in architecture or senior technical lead roles
• Ability to lead end-to-end solution design across multiple clouds, orgs, and environments; own multi-org/multi-environment strategy and governance
• Deep knowledge of the Salesforce product portfolio, editions, license types, and cost/feature trade-offs
• Expertise in LDV strategies, cross-cloud schemas, and SOQL/SOSL optimization at scale
• Experience with CRM Analytics, reporting architecture, and data migration and quality strategies
• Experience designing complex multi-business-unit sharing architectures, Apex managed sharing, and territory management
• Expertise in Shield, including encryption, event monitoring, and audit trail; SSO, IdP/SP, MFA, and cross-cloud identity federation
• Experience with integration patterns, API governance, middleware including MuleSoft and Azure Integration Services, and enterprise authentication using OAuth 2.0, SAML, and JWT
• Working knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP and their interplay with Salesforce
• Experience defining CI/CD pipelines, branching models, quality gates using SonarQube and PMD, and release readiness across teams
• Knowledge of disaster-recovery strategies and archival products, including Own, Odaseva, Grax, and Big Objects
• Experience with unlocked and managed package strategies for modular and multi-org delivery
• Ability to set configuration standards and enforce declarative versus programmatic best practices
• Experience with products commonly integrated with Salesforce, such as DocuSign, Conga, CPQ, and ERP connectors
• Confidence leading design workshops, presenting architectural options and recommendations, and translating business needs into technical solutions
• Ability to coordinate multiple delivery teams and external vendors, drive architectural alignment, mentor developers and technical leads, and own technical governance across workstreams
• Minimum 3–4 certifications on the Application/System Architect path; starting the CTA journey is a strong plus

Bonus Points If You Have

• Hands-on experience with LWC, Apex, SF CLI, and enterprise frameworks such as fflib for reviews and prototyping
• Pre-sales and estimation experience, including RFPs and technical due diligence
• Exposure to Salesforce AI, including Einstein and Agentforce, and Data Cloud
• Industry cloud experience, including FSC, Health Cloud, or Manufacturing Cloud
