Job Summary

The outpatient Family Medicine Physician role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative team environment focused on patient care. Primary Care Family Medicine Physicians work with a range of specialties to support patients throughout their healthcare journey, within a culture centered on collaborative relationships.

Key Position Details

Primary Care providers partner with the Mental Health service line and the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing to provide whole-person care in the clinic setting.

The clinic is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join a 38-member team that includes medical imaging, eye care, mental health, and women's health services, with access to the full spectrum of specialty care across the health system.

  • 36 patient-contact hours per week
  • Flexible schedule; open to lower FTE
  • Outpatient practice caring for patients of all ages, including growing families
  • Clinic hours: Monday 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; Tuesday–Wednesday 8 a.m.–7 p.m.; Thursday 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; Friday 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; Saturday–Sunday 8 a.m.–4 p.m. for walk-in care
  • EMR: Excellian electronic health record system

Job Description

  • Work collaboratively with patients to improve health and well-being

  • Use quality-improvement tools to develop processes that continuously improve patient care, patient outcomes, or workflows
  • May participate in peer review and quality assurance

Job Requirements

  • MD, DO, or foreign-equivalent training required
  • Board eligible or board certified through ABMS or AOA required
  • Active, unrestricted Minnesota medical license or ability to obtain
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain Minnesota DEA certification and National Provider Identifier
  • Ability to meet credentialing and hospital-privilege criteria, if applicable
  • BLS Tier 1 Basic Life Support certification required within 180 days

Physical Demands

Medium work: lift up to 32 lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. frequently.

Pay Range

$279,825 to $329,175 per year. The stated range reflects starting base pay for a full-time FTE; starting rate depends on factors including experience, education, and applicable union agreement.
