Job Description

Are you interested in practicing both pulmonary disease and critical care medicine in a true split practice with great teams? Then consider this opportunity at Lakeland Pulmonology and Spectrum Health Lakeland. We are adding a full time Pulmonary/Critical Care physician to help meet the needs of our patients and community.

Candidates must be board certified or board eligible. Opportunity includes outpatient and inpatient pulmonary with approximately 50% of your practice dedicated to critical care. Facilities includes a state-of-the-art 18-bed Critical Care Unit and new Endoscopy Suite. EBUS and bronchoscopy capabilities.

This is a hospital-employed position. Pulmonology practice includes three physicians and one advanced practitioner. New office space located on the campus of the Lakeland Health Park in St. Joseph. Convenient access to imaging services, laboratory, rehab, pharmacy, and a variety of other specialties. Team has interest in expanding services to outlying areas within 25 miles of St. Joseph. Epic EHR.

This is a great opportunity to join a practice with an existing base of patients who prefer to stay in the community. No competing practices in the immediate area.

Opportunity to teach medical students and residents. Corewell Health South is a teaching hospital offering residencies in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine. We also host 3rd and 4th year medical students from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Western Michigan University College of Medicine.
