Technical Program Manager - Security

The Role

As a Technical Program Manager, Security, you are the engine behind security engineering teams. The role focuses on driving security programs forward, ensuring secure and resilient products are built and shipped every day. Responsibilities include tracking and stabilizing projects, removing roadblocks, anticipating stakeholder needs, and enabling engineers to focus on critical security challenges.

Core Responsibilities

• Partner with security engineers, infrastructure teams, product managers, and legal to drive key security deliverables through the software development and security lifecycle.
• Synthesize security goals from product and threat landscape vision, mapping security strategy to granular team tasks and issues.
• Triage requests from the field to maximize team focus while escalating urgent issues.
• Maintain awareness of project status, including vulnerability remediation timelines, incident response obligations, and detection coverage gaps.
• Pre-empt and resolve issues that may steer projects off-course.
• Enhance collaboration across security engineering, IT, legal, and customer-facing teams.
• Align technical experts around shared objectives and improve efficiency by addressing communication gaps.
• Design, document, and improve security processes and operational frameworks to scale programs efficiently.
• Drive incident response coordination with clear ownership, timely communication, and structured post-incident reviews.
• Work with customer-facing engineering teams on adoption, rollout, and support of security-related product features and certifications.

What We Require

• Must work from the country listed on the job posting.
• Must be based within commuting distance of a local office.
• Willingness and eligibility to obtain a U.S. security clearance preferred.

Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $93,000 - $160,000 per year. Total compensation may also include restricted stock units, sign-on bonus, and additional incentives depending on qualifications, experience, and skills.
