Description

Lead product development efforts to create digital solutions supporting franchise operations, brand delivery, and value for franchise owners and their employees. Drive product visions and strategies aligned to product and business goals, gather needs from franchise owners/end users, and serve as the subject matter expert for the point-of-sale software solution.

Responsibilities

  • Drive product vision and strategies aligned with overall product vision and business goals
  • Understand franchise owners and end users’ needs through relationship building, committee participation, leading pilot groups, and time in operating locations
  • Design roadmaps that plan and prioritize what product teams will deliver and when
  • Define user stories and requirements
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the organization’s point-of-sale software solution
  • Partner with technology teams and the point-of-sale vendor to develop new features, resolve bugs, and enhance products
  • Work with business analysts to design requirements, perform user acceptance testing, and approve releases
  • Lead go-to-market efforts for new features and products
  • Develop product user documentation
  • Lead training efforts that empower franchise owners and employees to effectively use products
  • Deliver presentations to audiences about key product messages and functionality
  • Work with other members of Business Technology Services to establish product management best practices and processes across the organization
  • Listen, earn trust, and accept direct feedback from franchise owners while building strong, positive relationships

Your Expertise

Successful candidates demonstrate the ability to lead product management efforts through strategy, planning, execution, and launch; collaborate with technology teams with strong understanding of and ability to follow SDLC processes; understand the point-of-sale systems and their integration with other retail and operational technology; use business and technology acumen to build product strategies and roadmaps; and translate stakeholder needs into technology solutions.

Qualifications (desired/preferred)

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or a related field (desired)
  • 5+ years of equivalent experience (preferred)
