Description

AWS Infrastructure Services designs, plans, delivers, and operates AWS global infrastructure, supporting data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that keep cloud services running. As AWS expands its Global Data Center footprint, this role drives remediation of audit-identified risks by working with multifunctional regional teams in the Americas to mitigate and remediate risks across both Amazon owned data centers and colocation data center providers. You will analyze complex multi-source data and present coherent strategies for the Global portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Align priorities and ensure stakeholders deliver key milestones for data center infrastructure remediation at the right time and cost.
• Drive teams to mitigate and ultimately remediate risks identified during the audit program.
• Analyze complex data from multiple sources to form and present strategies for the global portfolio.
• Work with cross-functional internal and remote teams; communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience.
• Engineering or other relevant Bachelors degree required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence multiple stakeholders and technical subject matter experts.
• Ability to deliver programs while effectively managing large capital budgets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive-level progress reporting.
• Ability to deliver results under tight timelines and tolerate ambiguity.

Additional/Preferred Qualifications

• Data Center, networking engineering, systems engineering or construction management background.
• Experience managing complex technology infrastructure projects; data center design, construction, and fit out experience is a plus.
• Deep understanding of multiple project management methodologies.
• Experience delivering projects across multiple locations in Europe, Middle East & Africa.
• Familiarity with the AWS product suite.
