Description

The Senior Program Manager drives business-related initiatives for Mastocytosis in partnership with the Medical Program Lead and the Mastocytosis Global Medical Team. The role coordinates cross-functional resources to deliver lifecycle management (LCM) initiatives, launch deliverables, and strategic programs aligned with global medical plans. It also supports integrated evidence generation planning and alliance partner engagement where applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership & Leadership
    • Lead program management initiatives for Mastocytosis in partnership with the Medical Program Lead (MPL)
    • Collaborate with the Global Medical Director to operationalize Global Medical Team strategies and deliverables
    • Drive integrated evidence generation planning through cross-functional partnerships
  • Study Lifecycle & Portfolio Management
    • Oversee study lifecycle management, including process optimization, timeline coordination, and budget oversight for:
    • Company-Sponsored Studies (CSS): manage approval process; serve as medical liaison for CSO communications and partnerships
    • Investigator-Sponsored Studies (ISS) & Real-World Evidence (RWE): partner with stakeholders to capture operational details, study milestones, and budget requirements aligned with medical plans
    • Ensure adherence to study compliance requirements
  • Operational Excellence & Process Management
    • Optimize cross-functional communication and decision-making through meeting facilitation and stakeholder engagement
    • Streamline operational workflows to ensure compliance with internal SOPs and external regulatory guidelines
    • Use harmonized Program Management Tools to manage portfolio-level activities
  • Stakeholder & Alliance Partner Engagement
    • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with internal teams and external collaborators
    • Serve as primary advocate for alliance partner relationships (where applicable), ensuring alignment with collaboration objectives and deliverables
    • Provide specialized program management support for therapeutic area-specific initiatives and strategic priorities

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) required
  • Advanced degree in a scientific discipline strongly preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of project/program management experience within biotech/pharma, clinical, or scientific environments
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable tactical plans
  • Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional programs from initiation through completion with minimal supervision
  • Medical Affairs experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of project/program management methodologies and best practices
  • End-to-end ownership including scope, timelines, risk management, and budget oversight
  • Ability to develop and maintain reporting dashboards with key performance metrics using harmonized organizational tools
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized; manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of project/program management software (e.g., SharePoint Apps, MS Project, or equivalent tools)
