Senior
On-site
San Francisco, CA
14,583 - 18,750 USD/yr
🏢 Summary: Permanent Product Manager role focused on reimagining financial institution operations through AI-native solutions. The role involves identifying high-impact operational pain points and building end-to-end AI-driven products that replace legacy workflows in regulated banking environments. You will own the full product lifecycle and deliver ROI-driven solutions for enterprise financial institutions. 🗂️ Requirements: 5+ years product management experience, Experience in financial services operations, Experience building products for operations, risk, or compliance users, Experience owning full product lifecycle, Experience defining ROI-driven enterprise narratives, Strong customer discovery skills, Experience working in regulated financial environments, Hands-on use of AI tools for building prototypes and workflows 📃 Skills: AI, MachineLearning, Automation, ProductManagement, DataAnalysis, Prototyping, Compliance, FinTech, Cursor, Copilot, Claude, Replit 🏢 Description: Banking is being reimagined—and customers expect every interaction to be easy, personal, and instant. We are building a universal banking assistant that millions of U.S. consumers can use to transact across all financial institutions and, over time, autonomously drive their financial goals. Powered by our proprietary BankGPT platform, this assistant is positioned to displace age-old legacy systems within financial institutions and own the end-to-end CX stack, unlocking a $200B opportunity and potentially replacing multiple publicly traded companies. Ultimately, our mission is to drive financial well-being for millions of consumers. With over two-thirds of Americans living paycheck to paycheck, 50% holding less than $500 in savings, and only 17% financially literate, we aim to put financial well-being on autopilot to help solve this problem.About the Role: Financial institutions are full of operational pain points that haven't been meaningfully addressed in decades. Manual workflows, legacy tools, and inefficiency cost the industry billions. Your job is to go deep into how these institutions actually operate, identify the highest-impact friction points, and build AI-native solutions that fundamentally change the way things work. This isn't about wrapping AI around broken processes. It's about reimagining how these workflows should function when AI is the starting point. This is a domain-expert, permanent role (not a rotation) because customer relationships and regulatory knowledge compound over time. Your expertise is the moat. Key Responsibilities Discover and validate the highest-value operational pain points at financial institutions through deep customer engagement Design and build AI-native solutions from scratch: not incremental improvements to legacy workflows, but fundamentally new approaches Own the full product lifecycle: discovery, validation, build, launch, and iteration for each solution you bring to market Be the customer-facing domain expert: spend time with FI operations teams, understand their workflows at a granular level, and translate pain into product Define outcome-based value narratives for enterprise buyers: prove ROI in terms that CFOs and operations leaders care about Navigate regulatory complexity as a first-class product constraint: financial operations are heavily regulated, and compliance shapes the product, not the other way around Partner with platform teams to leverage shared AI infrastructure and capabilities Required Qualifications 5+ years in product management Experience in financial services operations you've worked in or built products for the operational side of financial institutions (not just consumer-facing apps) Built products where the user is an operations, risk, or compliance professional you understand back-office workflows at a granular level Experience defining ROI-driven narratives for enterprise buyers: you sell business outcomes, not feature lists Comfortable being the domain expert who educates engineering teams and peer PMs on industry nuance Strong discovery instincts you know how to find the real pain points, not just the ones customers articulate AI-native workflow: You build with AI daily — analyzing data, building prototypes, generating regulatory summaries, automating repetitive research. The specific tools don't matter (Cursor, Copilot, Claude, Replit, custom scripts — all count); what matters is that you've moved beyond prompting into building Preferred Skills Working knowledge of financial operations regulations (collections, fraud, compliance, lending): highly valued but learnable for candidates with adjacent financial services experience Financial institution experience Built AI-powered automation for back-office or operations workflows Experience with outcome-based or performance-based pricing models Experience identifying and validating new product opportunities through customer discovery Who you are? You're the person who has sat with operations teams at financial institutions and watched how they actually work: the spreadsheets, the manual queues, the workarounds that exist because nobody built them a real tool. You see friction that others accept as normal, and you immediately start thinking about what an AI-native solution looks like. You understand regulated environments viscerally. You don't treat compliance as a checkbox, you treat it as a design constraint that makes the product better. You've built products where a regulatory misstep isn't just a bug; it's a lawsuit. You're customer-facing and credible. Operations leaders at financial institutions trust you because you speak their language and understand their world. You can present ROI to a CFO and workflow details to an operations manager in the same meeting. You build your own tools. You use AI to analyze operational data, prototype solution workflows, generate regulatory requirement maps, and accelerate every aspect of your domain work — building agents, writing scripts, creating automated workflows, whatever gets the job done fastest. You see AI as both the product you're building and the way you build it. Our Values Act Like You're the Founder: Own the outcome from start to finish No Fear. Speak Your Mind: Candor moves us forward Pursuit of Excellence: Raise the bar, every time AI-First Mindset: Think automation, intelligence, and scale-first in every solution Don't Assume. Seek to Understand: Start with questions, not conclusions How We Work? Every PM builds with AI daily. Our standard toolkit is Cursor, MCP integrations, and custom AI agents — and we onboard every new hire on these tools in their first week. We hold a high quality bar and move at startup speed. Flat organization. No empire-building. Compensation Base Salary is expected to be between $175,000 - $225,000, plus 10%bonus and stock options. Exact compensation may vary based on skills and location. Benefits 100% paid health, dental & vision care 401(k) match & financial wellness perks Discretionary PTO + paid parental leave Mental health, wellness & family benefits A mission-driven team shaping the future of banking At Interface.ai, we are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all employees and applicants. The role drives technical execution and go-to-market impact by turning integrations into a competitive product advantage. You will work cross-functionally to evaluate APIs, define integration architecture, and enable new customer segments through scalable integration frameworks. 🗂️ Requirements: 7+ years in product management, 3+ years in integrations, platform partnerships, or API products, Experience building integration packages or partner ecosystems, Ability to evaluate banking APIs and integration architectures, Experience with contact center integrations and data exchange protocols, Experience defining and managing integration roadmaps, Experience influencing go-to-market strategy through product capabilities, Hands-on use of AI tools for workflow automation and analysis 📃 Skills: APIs, Integrations, Architecture, Banking, CCaaS, Data, AI, Automation, Scripting, Cursor, Copilot, Claude, Replit 🏢 Description: Banking is being reimagined—and customers expect every interaction to be easy, personal, and instant. At interface.ai, we're building AI-native products that transform how millions of Americans interact with their financial institutions, making every interaction intelligent, personal, and proactive. Our platform powers AI agents that handle real banking tasks end-to-end: moving money, resolving issues, converting loans, and surfacing financial insights across voice, chat, and digital channels. We're not building another chatbot. We're building the AI infrastructure that will become the primary way people bank. With two-thirds of Americans living paycheck to paycheck, only 17% financially literate, and 50% holding less than $500 in savings, the urgency is real. We're putting financial well-being on autopilot, starting with the community financial institutions that serve everyday Americans. We power AI agents for 100+ financial institutions, serving millions of banking members across the U.S., and are backed by leading investors including Avataar Venture Partners and Blume Ventures. Our platform enables banks and credit unions to automate high-volume customer interactions across voice and digital channels while improving resolution rates, reducing operational costs, and increasing customer engagement. Key credibility anchors: Series B AI company building agentic AI infrastructure for financial institutions Trusted by 100+ banks and credit unions across North America Serving millions of end users through conversational AI across voice, chat, and mobile channels The Opportunity At interface.ai, integrations aren't plumbing. They're a product. The depth of our integration layer directly determines what our AI can do for customers and how sticky the platform becomes. This is a strategic role reporting directly to the VP of Product. You decide which integrations to build, how to package them, and how they drive business outcomes. You also drive the technical execution, not just the strategy. What You'll Own Transform integrations from a technical function into a product-driven competitive advantage: integrations should open doors, not block deals Build and manage integration packages: pre-built bundles for specific customer segments that dramatically reduce time-to-live for new customers Define segment-specific integration strategies: which integrations unlock which customer segments and why Evaluate, prioritize, and manage the integration roadmap across core banking systems, contact center platforms, and data providers Design certification and testing programs that ensure integration quality, reliability, and partner confidence Influence go-to-market strategy through integration capabilities: your roadmap directly enables new deals and new segments Define integration architecture for new product lines: your strategic planning ensures the right integrations are in place as new products launch. You remain the integration authority throughout. Who You Are You see integrations the way a chess player sees the board: each one opens up new moves, and the right sequence creates a position that's hard to replicate. You've watched deals die because an integration wasn't ready, and you've seen firsthand how deep integrations become the reason customers stay and expand. You're equally comfortable in a technical architecture review and a sales deal review. You can evaluate a banking API spec and then explain to a GTM team why this integration unlocks a $50M customer segment. You translate between engineering ("this requires a new adapter pattern") and business ("this means we can close the top 3 pipeline deals"). You build your own tools. You use AI to map integration landscapes, analyze API documentation, generate partner comparison matrices, and accelerate strategic planning — building agents, writing scripts, creating automated workflows, whatever gets the job done fastest. You don't wait for someone to compile the data. You compile it yourself, faster than anyone expects. What You Bring 7+ years in product management, with 3+ years in integrations, platform partnerships, or API products Experience building integration packages, partner ecosystems, or API programs that drive business outcomes Technical enough to evaluate banking APIs, contact center integrations, and data exchange protocols: you don't need to code them, but you can read the docs, assess the architecture, and identify risks Understanding of how segment-specific integration needs map to business opportunity Experience with packaging capabilities into customer-ready offerings that reduce deployment friction Track record of influencing GTM strategy through product capabilities AI-native workflow: You build with AI daily — mapping integration landscapes, analyzing API specs, generating comparison matrices, automating documentation. The specific tools don't matter (Cursor, Copilot, Claude, Replit, custom scripts — all count); what matters is that you've moved beyond prompting into building. Bonus Points Financial services integration experience (core banking systems, CCaaS platforms, or financial data providers) Built or managed API partnership programs Product-led growth experience where integrations drive adoption Experience with integration testing, certification, and quality programs Our Values Act Like You're the Founder: Own the outcome from start to finish No Fear. Speak Your Mind: Candor moves us forward Pursuit of Excellence: Raise the bar, every time AI-First Mindset: Think automation, intelligence, and scale-first in every solution Don't Assume. This is an operator's challenge at a critical growth moment. Assess health across products, prioritize ruthlessly, and drive improvements that compound across the entire suite. The products share a common AI platform, and your job is to make them work together seamlessly while pushing each product's metrics higher. You'll be the senior IC and product anchor for the member-facing product pillar, setting product direction, mentoring peer PMs, breaking ties, and ensuring the existing products continue to deliver while the company invests in the future. This is how you manage the breadth of a multi-product portfolio without drowning in it. Preferred Skills Voice AI or conversational AI product experience Financial services or financial institution industry knowledge Built AI-powered products at scale (millions of end users) Experience with multi-channel product experiences (voice + chat + digital) Built custom AI agents, MCP integrations, or automated AI workflows for product management tasks Who you are? You're the operator who walks into a multi-product portfolio and within weeks knows exactly which product is healthy, which is underperforming, and which metric to move first. You don't just manage products, you manage a *system* of products that share infrastructure, serve overlapping users, and compound in value when they work together. You've been the person that enterprise customers trust. You can walk into a room of financial institution executives, understand their pain in the first ten minutes, and translate it into a product improvement by the end of the week. You balance customer empathy with business discipline: you won't build something just because a customer asks, but you'll never dismiss a pain point without investigation. You build your own tools and workflows. You use AI to track portfolio health, analyze usage patterns at scale, prototype product improvements, and automate the parts of product management that don't require human judgment — building agents, creating automated workflows, writing scripts, whatever makes the work faster. You manage a multi-product portfolio at a pace that would be impossible without AI, and that's the point. Our Values Act Like You're the Founder: Own the outcome from start to finish No Fear.
