Role Summary
Rowan Digital Infrastructure is seeking a Director, Program Management to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that enable hyperscale data center growth strategy. This individual contributor role is responsible for system design, governance, reporting, and performance management across large-scale infrastructure programs.
The successful candidate will combine deep technical knowledge with exceptional program management skills to deliver transformational projects that support sustainable, efficient, and scalable data center delivery.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 30% for project site visits and company gatherings
- Location: Denver, CO or Seattle, WA (hybrid 3 days in-office role)
- Compensation: $160K - $205K (Offers Bonus)
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop and manage end-to-end project business plans for hyperscale data center initiatives, including site due diligence, planning, marketing, and lifecycle management
- Implement and manage centralized project tracking systems and reporting tools while standardizing workflows for task orders, approvals, and documentation
- Drive adoption of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and governance
- Partner with internal teams including Sites, Energy & Water, Engineering, Construction, Business Development, Finance, and Economic Development to align technical, operational, and commercial priorities
- Track project performance against schedule, cost, and quality baselines, and lead post-project reviews to capture lessons learned
- Define goals and metrics using technical judgment to shape project evaluations, technology reviews, and strategic decisions
- Drive comprehensive risk analysis and mitigation for large-scale data center projects
- Own executive-level communications, including Plans of Record, status updates, and strategic recommendations
Education, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, real estate, or related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred
- 7+ years of experience in data center or network capacity planning, infrastructure program/project management, or related technical fields
- Technical understanding of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure, including network connectivity, data centers, hardware, and software
- Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects in fast-paced environments with high ambiguity
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with financial modeling, vendor management, and global supply chain strategies is a plus
