Compensation
This position offers a competitive compensation package benchmarked to regional market standards, including a base salary and quarterly profit sharing eligibility after one year of employment.
Hours of Operation
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, plus on-call hours.
Responsibilities
- Book, track, and close loads to ensure timely delivery.
- Negotiate load pricing and reduce overall cost per mile.
- Confirm carrier capabilities including trailer length, weight capacity, and height restrictions.
- Coordinate communication with brokers, drivers, and end-users to reduce days to return.
- Work closely with sales and logistics teams to allocate delivery and return freight resources.
- Provide quick responses and excellent customer service.
- Communicate delivery or pick-up delays to the sales team via email.
- Generate transport orders using the Fleetwave transportation booking system.
- Assist AP with reconciling weekly transportation purchase orders.
- Provide occasional after-hours support for breakdowns or delivery issues.
