About the Role

We are looking for a Manager, Planning who is passionate about utilizing robotics to improve daily life. Leading a key segment of the Supply Chain team, you will oversee coordination of planning activities, including optimization of material and inventory plans. You will partner closely with Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Inventory Management teams to ensure material availability for growing global demand.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills and can operate at both tactical and strategic levels while leading contributors and proactively mitigating supply chain risks.

About the Work

  • Tactical Leadership: Lead the creation, review, and execution of supply and inventory replenishment plans for finished goods and raw materials across a 12 to 24 month horizon.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and mentor planners and analysts while ensuring material readiness validation for manufacturing orders.
  • Accountability: Own and report on supply chain KPIs including forecast accuracy, working capital optimization, customer fill rates, and freight efficiencies.
  • Inventory & Risk Management: Monitor inventory health, supply gaps, and logistics risks while developing inventory strategies.
  • Data & System Governance: Partner with Sourcing to maintain supply chain master data integrity.
  • SIOP / S&OP Architecture: Prepare and present Sales & Operations planning reports while driving cross-functional alignment.
  • Lifecycle Management: Partner with Engineering and Sourcing on inventory strategies for NPI and EOL product phases.
  • Process Scaling: Design and optimize scalable supply planning workflows and policies.

About You

  • 8+ years of supply chain planning experience in high-tech, robotics, or industrial manufacturing.
  • 2–3+ years of supervisory or management experience.
  • BA/BS degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
  • Deep proficiency in IBP/SIOP, MRP/ERP systems, and statistical forecasting methods.
  • Advanced data visualization and reporting skills.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced and evolving environments.
  • CPF, ACPF, APICS, CPIM, or CSCP certifications preferred.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership, negotiation, and facilitation skills.

Location

This is an onsite position at the Salem office.

This role is ideal for someone with strong coordination skills, a cross-functional mindset, and an interest in the intersection of engineering, systems, and logistics. YOUR ROLE Engineering background, with a stronger focus on project management applied to logistics, particularly within Integrated Logistics Support (ILS). Logistics and supply chain management, including transportation, storage, and distribution, aligned with internal warehouse operations. Equipment maintenance management: preventive maintenance related to component obsolescence and stocking needs; corrective and proactive maintenance, including software updates. Development and management of technical documentation for solutions and systems. Experience in delivering training on how to develop technical documentation for systems and solutions, aimed at installers and operators. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead ILS projects from planning through execution, delivery, and maintenance phases (including long lifecycle projects). Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, logistics, procurement, and systems). Ensure the development of ILS plans (maintenance, spares, training, and documentation). Monitor project timelines, costs, and risks. Ensure compliance with client requirements and defence industry standards. Contribute to the continuous improvement of ILS processes and methodologies. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field. Experience in project management (preferably in technical, logistics, or industrial environments). Knowledge or prior experience in ILS, logistics, maintenance, or lifecycle support (preferred). Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Results-driven mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Fluency in English (mandatory). Project management certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent).
