Description
CI Azumano is seeking a Business Analyst to support a growing team. This position is remote and full-time.
This role is ideal for an individual passionate about establishing disciplined business processes, documenting those processes, measuring performance, and guiding the organization through structured analysis to make optimal business decisions. The candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop solutions, and ensure the quality and effectiveness of business processes that support travel operations. The position requires strong analytical, written and verbal communication, and consultative skills focused on business process optimization.
Responsibilities
- Collect, review, analyze, and manage system and user requirements from executive leadership and translate them into documentation, presentations, or draft analyses
- Analyze business processes for gaps and document them using Standard Operating Procedures or workflow diagrams
- Leverage analytical techniques such as Return on Investment, Business Case Analysis, and Decision Analysis and Resolution (DAR) to support optimal business decisions
- Create activity diagrams, flow diagrams, and related documentation
- Research solutions to increase work efficiency
- Operate in a complex environment with multiple projects and stakeholders
- Perform solution assessment and validation, including support of user acceptance testing and defect and issue reporting
- Ensure project deliverables meet defined business requirements
- Establish understanding of client business challenges and translate them into opportunities
- Maintain regular client communication and satisfaction
- Contribute to project discovery, kickoff, proposals, and statements of work
- Improve systems or processes by identifying and designing process modifications
- Establish project critical paths, milestones, and delivery dates
- Help establish project test strategies, methodologies, and test plans, and assist with test execution
- Provide weekly status reports and monthly risk updates
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience working cross-functionally across departments such as Finance, IT, Operations, and Quality
- Proven ability to produce high-quality documentation and presentations with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
