We are looking for a Business & Test Analyst to join a global technology environment focused on improving the quality, consistency, and compliance of software delivery processes across multiple development teams.
This is not a hands-on testing or development role. Instead, you will act as a process and quality enabler, helping engineering and delivery teams understand and apply best practices in software delivery, testing, and change management.
You will work across multiple international teams to ensure that software changes are delivered in a controlled, consistent, and auditable way.
Hybrid working model: 6 days per month from the office in Kraków
Key Responsibilities
Review and assess test evidence and software change documentation
Ensure delivery teams follow agreed SDLC and release standards
Identify gaps in testing and delivery processes and support remediation
Work with development teams to improve software delivery quality and compliance
Analyse delivery and DevOps-related metrics and highlight trends or risks
Support teams in understanding what “good” looks like in testing and release processes
Facilitate discussions and workshops with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Contribute to continuous improvement of software delivery workflows
Support reporting on compliance, quality, and delivery effectiveness
Requirements
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Test Analyst, or hybrid BA/ QA role
Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Experience working with software testing processes and test evidence
Exposure to Agile delivery environments
Ability to analyse data and present insights clearly (Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong communication skills and confidence working with multiple stakeholders
Fluent English (written and spoken)
Nice to have
Experience in regulated environments (finance, banking, enterprise IT)
Exposure to Governance / Risk / Compliance concepts
Understanding of release/deployment processes
Knowledge of QA tools (e.g. Zephyr, qTest, Tricentis)

In the team you will provide support to several projects for a European institution, concerning security and border control activities. About the role: The candidate will make part of our QA team in Poland to perform the Verification and Validation of the applications produced by the development team, learning our procedures and contributing to the test automation and the Continuous Integration process, with an emphasis in security (DevSecOps). Responsibilities: Strategizing and planning test activities. Preparing test documentation (Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Reports, etc.). Designing and configuring test environments. Setting up and maintaining the test framework as needed. Implementing test automation as required: preparing, executing, debugging application test cases and scripts. Monitoring test results, analysing quality of the system and reporting on status and trends. Documenting and tracking defects. Liaising with various interested parties, such as Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and support staff as necessary to fulfil testing responsibilities. Communicating with teammates, stakeholders, internal and or business customers. Analysing specification documentation to plan and design the tests. Supporting colleagues and clients during User Acceptance Tests. Contributing to and supporting other QA team members to produce Test Plans and Test Cases for different projects, and to contributing to the QA knowledge base, especially with regard to technical knowledge. Requirements: BSc or higher education degree (preferably in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering). ISTQB Certified Tester at Advanced level, or equivalent. At least 6 years of experience in Software Testing , including manual and automated testing (functional, acceptance, integration, regression, system testing, performance testing). Proficient in implementing testing procedures within the QA process.
