The Mason City Clinic (MCC) in Mason City, Iowa has an excellent opportunity for a BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon to join the Orthopedic department. The Mason City Clinic is a multi-specialty physician-owned group.

Opportunity Highlights

  • Join the team of 4 surgeons, 5 PAs, and a hand specialized occupational therapist
  • 36 days of call annually
  • PAs take primary call
  • Accepting General Ortho + any subspecialty
  • Workweek consists of both clinic & surgery days
  • Perform surgeries at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a 342-bed regional referral teaching hospital connected to the clinic, as well as the Ambulatory Surgery Center, also located on the same campus
  • Opportunities for outreach at one of 7 critical access hospitals in a 14-county network
  • Primary Service Area – approximately 260,000 people
  • Level III Trauma Center with helicopter service

Package Details

  • Salary: $661,826/year + production (2-year guarantee)

Qualifications

  • BC/BE – must be board certified within 3 years of becoming eligible
  • H1B & J1 candidates encouraged to apply
  • Graduate of a medical or osteopathic medical school
  • Completion of an appropriate residency program
  • Must be able to obtain medical staff privileges
  • Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license
  • Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate required
  • Offers contingent upon successful completion of references, background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen
