The Position

Arrowhead is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to join its Finance & Accounting team. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager and working closely with the Controller, this role will manage all aspects of partnership/collaboration accounting and commercial revenue.

This is a newly created, high-impact role designed to build and scale revenue recognition processes in a complex life sciences environment. The Revenue Accounting Manager will own the company’s revenue framework and serve as the subject-matter expert for ASC 606 revenue accounting, ensuring accurate financial reporting, operational efficiency, and SOX compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as subject-matter expert on revenue accounting under ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP; review and assess complex partnership and customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition and disclosure.
  • Establish and maintain revenue accounting policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory standards and SOX requirements.
  • Partner with FP&A to ensure accurate tracking of labor hours and support input-method revenue recognition with audit-ready documentation.
  • Perform order-to-cash month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and flux analysis.
  • Support gross-to-net revenue accounting and review third-party documentation.
  • Prepare revenue-related disclosures for Forms 10-Q and 10-K.
  • Maintain SOX-compliant controls over revenue and accounts receivable cycles.

Requirements
