Cottingham & Butler Claims Services (CBCS) is offering a remote opportunity for an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster. This work-from-home role requires prior workers’ compensation adjusting experience, including taking statements, paying lost wage benefits, filing state forms, denying claims, subrogation, and litigation.

As a Work Comp Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling workers’ compensation claims on behalf of clients. The role requires strong knowledge of workers’ compensation laws and regulations and the ability to communicate with CEOs, claimants, provider offices, and attorneys. Experience handling claims in multiple jurisdictions is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a workers’ compensation claims adjuster
• License/state experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of workers’ compensation laws and regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management software
