Purpose of the position

We’re looking for a Senior ServiceNow Developer who will help take ownership & develop our ‘Connect’ (ServiceNow) platform in Demant – and help us push the boundaries of it. You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing solutions across the platform and business, ensure they are scalable, secure & follow best practice, and are aligned with business needs. It’s a hands-on technical role with real influence. You’ll be part of our ‘ITSM’ team working with skilled colleagues across both development and operations of the platform.

We’re not looking for someone to just “keep the lights on”. We want someone who wants to build, improve, challenge, and help us take ServiceNow to the next level.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop & Operate the ServiceNow platform (“Connect”) across Demant

  • Design best-practice solution & standards to ensure a stable, scalable & reliable platform

  • Own your solutions end‑to‑end – from idea & design to implementation & operations

  • Continuous development & improvement of the platform and modules – today we have ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, Workflow Data Fabric, and HRSD modules

  • Help shape our ServiceNow roadmap and best practices through close sparring with leadership, stakeholders and team

  • Scale ‘IT solutions’ to Enterprise level – with focus on driving efficiency for our users

Our requirements

  • Solid experience as ServiceNow developer understanding the platform setup & capabilities

  • Strong understanding and experience within CMDB (CSDM) or ITSM, ITOM ‘discovery & service mapping’, and data modelling is key for the perfect candidate

  • Comfortable with scripting (JavaScript/Glide) and setup integrations after best-practice (REST, SOAP, MID Server, Workflow Data Fabric).

  • The ability to take ownership, support or make decisions on your own, and drive solutions forward

  • Ability to speak up on solutions or decisions you don’t agree to and challenge status quo

  • A collaborative mindset – you enjoy working with others, not just coding in a corner
